Q: Do I need lab work before my first appointment?
A: No, you do not need labwork before your appointment, but it can be helpful if you do. If you have lab work that you would like the provider to review at your first visit, please EMAIL the lab results before your appointment.
Q: How often do I need to be seen in person?
A: At least once per calendar year.
Q: Do I need lab work while being treated by Red Rocks Wellness?
A: Yes, you will need routine lab work. Depending on your treatment plan, you will have bloodwork to ensure that the prescribed therapies are effective and to monitor other health markers as indicated.
Q: Where can I have lab work drawn?
A: Labs are not drawn at our clinic. Lab draws are done at a facility of your choosing.

MEDICATIONS
Q: How early should I request medication refills?
A: For prescriptions that are mailed to you, please try to order these prescriptions 2 weeks in advance of needing the refill. For all other prescriptions, please try to order within 1 week of needing the refill.

Q: I have never injected medication before. How do I know if I am doing it right?

Q: I am having side effects. What should I do?
A: If side effects are severe and potentially life threatening, please go the the emergency department. For significant, but non-life threatening side effects, please schedule a follow-up appointment. If side effects are mild, please click HERE to be directed to a page that covers reviews some of the most common side effects and how to manage them with over-the-counter methods.
PAYMENTS & FEES
Q: How do I pay for treatment?
A: You will be required to put a valid credit card on file to book your first appointment. After your initial consultation, you will select the desired membership plan*. The credit card on file will be billed monthly for that membership unless you request cancellation or a change of the membership plan.
*Membership plans do not cover pellet therapy. Pellet therapy is paid in one fee at the time of service.
Q: What do membership plans cover?
A: Membership is offered to encourage routine follow-up. Membership covers consultations, follow-ups, lab reviews, and all related prescriptive services. Lab fees, medications, and supplements are not included in this cost.
Q: Do you accept insurance?
A: No insurance plans are accepted, though you may have some prescriptions sent to commercial pharmacies that are covered by your insurance plan. You may also qualify for reimbursement by your insurance for medical expenses if you have a diagnosable medical condition that is being treated.
Q: Do you accept HSA and FSA cards?
A: HSA and FSA cards may be used, though which services are covered will be at the discretion of your plan. Red Rocks Wellness is not responsible for expenses that are not covered by your plan.
Q: Are there cancellation fees for appointments?
A: You may cancel your appointment more than 24 hours in advance without a cancellation fee. If you wish to cancel your appointment within 24 hours of your appointment, you will need to contact us directly. You may be subject to a cancellation fee if your appointment is canceled within 24 hours.
Q: Are there any penalties for canceling a membership?
A: No, there are no penalties for canceling memberships. However, patients will be billed for the equivalent of the months' supply of medications that have been prescribed to them.
Q: I have already been billed for the month but I want to cancel my membership. Can I be refunded?
A: Patients must notify our office of their intention to discontinue their membership as soon as possible to avoid unnecessary charges. There will be no refunds given for membership fees that have already been collected.
Q: I had several refills available on my medication but I want to cancel my membership. Will I still be able to get my refills?
A: No, if you have had refills authorized for your medications, the refills will be canceled when the membership plan is canceled.
