PT-141 (Bremalanotide)
- Classified as a peptide, this medication works by stimulating the brain's melanocortin receptors and causes the brain to release nitric oxide.

Trimix
"Trimix" refers to a specific type of injectable medication used to help achieve and maintain an erection. Trimix is a combination of three medications:
- Alprostadil – A vasodilator that helps relax the blood vessels and increase blood flow to the penis.
- Papaverine – Another vasodilator that helps improve blood flow.
- Phentolamine – An alpha-adrenergic blocker that helps improve blood flow by relaxing blood vessels.
When injected into the base or side of the penis, Trimix works to enhance blood flow, helping to produce an erection. It's often used when other treatments for ED, such as oral medications, are not effective. Like any medication, there can be side effects, but this medication is generally well tolerated. Side effects include: discomfort at the injection site, priapism, scarring, and minor bleeding.
